10 Way to Finish the Last few days of the Month Strong!

We’re down to the last few days  of the month, and if you are looking at your business so far and you are way off on your goals, it may be time to kick it into overdrive and make sure you create your own success. 
Or, maybe you’ve already hit your goals and now you’ve got a few days to do even more to get a jumpstart on next month. Either way, when we make the most of every day, every week, every month, we are sure to build a strong and thriving business!


Here are 10 Ways to Finish the Last Week of the Month Strong (and Start Next Month with LOTS of momentum!)
1. Hold a 7 Day “Mystery Host” online party with a deadline to close on the last day of the month~ setting a hard deadline can create a sense of urgency & get people to order.
2. Create a short video to highlight this month’s specials & share it with your client base. Make sure to have a “call to action” at the end, making it clear how to book, order, or join your team.
3. Contact hosts from last year at this time & offer them your earliest dates for next month. Be sure to let them know that they will fill fast & you are giving them first dibs on them.
4. Hold a Live Facebook party. You only need a day or 2 to plan this and get people invited.
5. Place all outstanding orders and close any open parties that are ready to close.
6. Follow up with any “maybes” that you have for people who may want to join your business, and remind them why this is the perfect time to start.
7. Share a photo or video of how you’re using your products each day with a tip on how your clients can use them, too. Be sure to add a link to your website.
8. Contact 3 clients each day and share any monthly specials with them.
9. Check your numbers and make sure you reach any incentives you’re working toward. Be sure to keep an eye on all aspects of your business: sales, new Team Members, and any additional incentives.
10. Ask for help if you need it~ your sponsor doesn’t know you need help if you don’t ask.
A LOT can be done in the last week of the month! Be sure to push through, and don’t give up!

How To Recruit on Facebook



I know we all want to spread the amazingness of TuVous right?? People NEED TuVous in their lives. It can be SO life changing in so many different ways. Financial, friendships, new experiences and being part of something. You never know WHY someone would want to join an this is why it is so important to not count anyone out when thinking of who you can approach with this opportunity.


1. Write your list of 100. Think of all those that you feel could use this in their life. Think of everyone and write their names down. I recommend going through your Facebook friend list. Write down all those names that love fashion, are looking for a job, maybe have grown children and need a hobby, own a salon or boutique, take great selfies, seem out going or any other reason that pops in your head.

2. I like to keep things simple when it comes to recruiting. If you overwhelm people with info they shut down and won't even read what you send them. I like to keep it light hearted and fun... I mean this is fashion! It does NOT need to be that serious ;) Go to the list you have created and also pull up your fb friends list again. Start by reaching out with a fun message to people. This is what I send to keep it short, sweet and simple! "OMG.... Have you seen TuVous yet???" This allows them to answer back, it's not a paragraph to read and MOST do not even see your posts on fb. Facebook hides so much from us. Most are going to write back saying "No, what is that?" This allows you to tell them about it. Again, keep it fun and lighthearted. The second you sound like a sales person they shut you off.

3. The BEST place to recruit is during your fb parties. This is when guests are experiencing how fun and easy TuVous really is. REALLY pay attention to those in the party. You should be friending all those that are engaging. When I notice someone commenting on all posts and being fun I will shoot them a message saying this "OMG you should TOTALLY be doing this with me haha ;)" Again, keeping it lighthearted and fun. You will notice I am blunt BUT I also put the HAHA and wink face to also make it easy to play off. Most have already been thinking about it OR this will get them thinking about it. This is the BIGGEST way I recruit and is my GO TO LINER for recruiting. Ask most of those that I have brought into TuVous.. they will tell you it started with THAT line haha. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS ASK EVERY HOSTESS TO JOIN YOUR TEAM!!

Booking Parties BEFORE the TuVous party!

Your goal should ALWAYS be to book 2 parties from all the parties you hold. 

I try to book as many parties as I can BEFORE the actual party starts!!!! I suggest offering extra incentives. Again this is how I book so many TuVous parties. At times yes the party bombs and I give away a nail wrap for free... but I get something from every party wether I make money or not. I gain new friends from the event, I am planting TuVous seeds etc. You can choose any item you would like to give. These are just examples!

Idea #1 We have such AMAZING TuVous hostess rewards! We LOVE to spoil our hostesses! There will be a chance to book a party during the LIVE part of this party BUT if you book a party BEFORE the actual event I will spoil you EVEN MORE!!! WAHOOO!!!! Get your choice of a set of nail wraps FREE!!! AND look how amazing our TuVous nail wraps are!!! Perfect for spring!

 


Ideas #2 This idea is when you have a party already started and the hostess has gotten her friends and family invited and has sent her messages out. I like to set a party goal.

Now the 150 have been invited. The messages have been sent out. This is when I give her the first goal. I send her this....

OMG yay this is already SO much fun! LOOK you already have people joining! This is going to be amazing!!! Okay so if you can get me 2 parties booked before the party starts I will throw in another $5 for you to spend!  

(This is what I do... You can offer anything you would like. I DO RECOMMEND that you offer something. Don't be cheap. I say this with love... but you are in the biz of making customers and making sales. Your hostess is the most important part of this! Spoil her. Help her. Coach her! Your spending money yes... and yes the other 2 parties may bomb BUT what if both of those parties are $200??? Put it in perspective for yourself. Sometimes we have to spend money to make money... PLUS your wanting to know how I have so many parities and recruit so many new team members... well here is my answers ;)

Places to Sell TuVous


Keeping A TuVous Bag

I make SO many sales from keeping a TuVous bag with me at ALL times. I keep inventory, biz cards and information about TuVous that I can hand out. Here are a few examples of how I use my bag in my day to day routines.


  • I take it to football games, baseball games etc and show other mom's what goodies I have. My bag always strikes up conversation.
  • When at restaurant's if I have an amazing hostess I will leave her an item as part of her tip. She ALWAYS get's soooo excited.
  • When my kids have Dr. appointments I take my bag in. I like to compliment the nurses on their earrings etc and then talk about my bag. I have sold 5 necklace's at one Dr. appointment just by doing this.
  • At my kids school I will either send TuVous as teacher gift's OR better yet.. take the bag in and let THEM choose out an item from my bag. How can they just choose 1 item right haha! They usually want to buy other items OR book a party.
  • At the bank I can give away an item to the teller who always is wearing cute earrings. 
 Get creative with this. Remember it is YOUR job to get TuVous EVERYWHERE!!! The more places you can get your TuVous items the better! This is building your business. It's FREE advertising that big companies pay millions for. If you were selling cookies and that became your business wouldn't you give the everyone? Donate to bake sales, gift to neighbors, take to children's schools etc. YOU would be knows as the cookies lady right?? Your job is to be the TUVOUS lady! The one that always has that cute bag of stuff! The one who is always wearing cute fashion. Watch the Video below to see my bag and all that I carry in it.

When Booking Events

When looking for events to do locally I have some tips for you that I have learned along the way. You do need to be careful in the events you choose. Events can put you into debt if you are not picking them wisely.




1. Do not book an event that costs more than $100 UNLESS you KNOW the event is amazing!!
2. Ask how many years they have done this particular event
3. How many vendors will be there

  • You do NOT want to be part of an event that has TONS of vendors. That means most guests will never even get to your booth. It also means that guests have to decide which booth they will be spending their $40 at.  
4. When choosing an event if you decide on one that is geared towards children remember that most guests choose to spend money on their children. Face painting, food and activities. BUT... this is a great way to book parties and to get your name out there. 

5. Ask for the area that has the highest traffic at event to set your booth up at. Corner booths, by bathrooms or the food.

6. ALWAYS give the coordinator a thank you gift. This builds the relationship, advertises for you and helps them remember YOU for the next event they coordinate.

Momentum

How important is momentum to your business?

I believe that momentum is one of the fastest ways you can boom your business or slow it down. When I look back at all my success I try to disect what I did and how I can teach it to others. Momentum is one of those keys that sticks out tremendously.

When I first started the first company I was with I had no idea if this was going to work or not. I had many telling me I was crazy. Don’t get into Network Marketing they would tell me. You're are already so broke you need to get a real job. I chose not to listen to any of it. I decided to put my head down and get to work. I had nothing to compare myself to since that company was only 6 months old at the time.

I was excited and I loved the products. I had this huge feeling that this was going to be BIG I just didn’t know how or when. My attitude was to go out and tell as many people as I could about our products. To show these “nay sayers” that they were wrong. That $5 jewelry was amazing!!! I believed that this opportunity could change my life.



I imagine this excitement as if you are getting ready for a race. I have boughten the cutest shoes. I have practiced riding the bike in preparation for the long stretch. I am excited for this journey and all that comes with it. This is how it is when you first start your business. There is a NEW excitement. You have butterflies inside and you can’t wait to get out on that business bike.

Think of your business as a GIANT HILL. Your bike is the vehicle that gets you up this hill but YOU are the one that has to peddle this bike. At first it may seem easy. You are rested and you have some momentum at the beginning of the race. When starting out your business that excitement is what creates momentum for yourself within your business. Everyone around you feels this excitement. Any party you do or person you bring into the company as well will feel this excitement. When everyone is feeling this energy it creates a huge ball of momentum. When you duplicate your momentum your bike goes faster.

What can happen shortly after we have started the business or our bike ride we get tired right? Maybe you had a bad party. Maybe you have had 5 no’s in a row. What happens is people decide to pull over and take a rest. This is the WORST thing you can do for your business. It is so much harder to get back on the bike and start in the middle of the hill than it did when you were at the bottom. When you get back on the bike what happens… you go backwards for a minute before you catch a grip and are able to peddle and peddle. The same is with YOUR business. How discouraging is it that every time you start your business you pull over and have to get started again in the middle of a hill. It’s also hard when you realize your business seems to go backwards until you get good momentum again right?

This is why it’s so important to NEVER quit peddling. Even when life throws you curve balls and you have to slow down DO NOT pull over. When you have teammates that choose to pull over to take a rest YOU DO NOT stop with them. You can yell back to them encouraging words but do not stop yourself. You keep your feet firmly on those peddles and keep going!

I can honestly tell you that keeping my feet firmly peddling has kept the momentum growing constantly for me and my success. When you continue to keep growing it creates more excitement and that excitement feeds down into your team. I also know it is just as important to teach your teams to do the same. The faster you help them achieve their goals the more excited they will become which creates more momentum with them and within in your organization. This is why I recommend Team Lead in 30 days. I understand that the faster I can teach and help each person that I bring into TuVous Fahion achieve the Rank of Team Lead they will be earning a bigger paycheck and will also be recognized for their accomplishments. This is HUGE for creating success within my business.

Hostess Coaching (online Facebook parties)

If you are not hostess coaching properly your party will tank :( I can't express enough how IMPORTANT IT IS TO HOSTESS COACH... BUT to also hostess coach correctly!!!! I am going to explain exactly how I hostess coach and what makes my parties such big successes :)

1. Make the hostess a "host" of the party & set up a time to chat with her about the party and HER responsibilities as a Hostess. Explain to her that your most successful parties are those that have the Hostess really be part of. SHE is the one that knows her friends and family and they will respond the best to her.

2. You need to set a goal with the hostess. This is what I tell my hostess. "“Let’s set a goal for your party.  I want to help you get as much free and discounted accessories as possible.  Let’s aim for a $300 party! (send her the hostess rewards images)

 


“When we can get 25 people to click “going” that they will be attend the party we will typically get 10-15 who actually attend. This can get you $300 to $400 in sales.  That would earn you $30 to $40 in free product, 3-4 items at ½ price and 2 items that are only available to our hostesses. Amazing right!?! Do you think we can get 25 people to click “going?”

3. Have her invite up to 150 of her friends and family to the party. I tell her this. "Hey girlie! Okay invite up to 150 people. Really think about who you are inviting though. Don't just add anyone. You want to add those to the party that you know will support you and those that LOVE fashion."

4. After she gets done inviting all of her friends to the party I have her message each person to invite them. You have her do this FROM THE EVENT. This is what I tell me hostess. "Okay I now need you to send out a private message to personally invite each person to the party :) You can do this from the event and its super simple! Go into the party and click "message guests" insert the message I have given you and click on the names of all those you are going to send it to. Make sure you send it to all those you "invited" those that said "maybe and to those that said they are "going." Make sure you send this NOT as a group message :)

Message Blurb.... Hey Girl, I am doing a 30 minute Facebook Party WEDNESDAY!! It’s such a fun NEW company called TuVous and I am trying to earn some FREE fashion items. They carry all types of men and women’s fashion. It’s awesome!!! There is a  giveaway going on right now and I would REALLY LOVE your support!! I really hope you can come…..

5. Then I post my raffle picture for the first 20 people to join the party will get their first raffle ticket. I ask my hostess to please tag each guest as they join the party in the comments. This is what I tell her. " Okay girlie! So now as the guests join the party will you comment in the raffle image welcoming them to the party. Be excited and say "WAHOOO you just earned your first raffle ticket!!!"

6. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT PART!!!! Have your hostess choose out what items she is wanting to earn for free, half off and hostess exclusive. Have her send you the images so you can then motivate her with other images :) Now the 150 have been invited. The messages have been sent out. This is when I give her the first goal. I send her this....

7.  I want you to remember that your goal is to make the hostess excited!!! All hostess don't get excited about the same things. YOUR job is to find out what she is excited about. For some its that people are "OMG already joining the event" for others its that "this party is already so easy!!" and others it will be that they totally know they are going to get that necklace they have wanted so badly!!! The more i can make my hostess BELIEVE that this is the best party EVER and that she is already having success the more she does what I ask of her.

I make a BIG deal that people are already joining her event! I say OMG look how many have joined!!! 3 in 5 minutes!!! Ummm they are already stoked about this!! WOOOT! You are going to get so much free stuff!!! Eeeeek!

 When i make her feel as tho she is doing such a good job she ultimately feels excited and wants to continue really making this a big deal!

8. You need to continue to coach your hostess every day to tag, comment and to have fun! When needed I will give her an image to post along with a blurb. Ask her to also post selfies if she has any TuVous items. Customers LOVE to see their hostess and friend.

9. As the pre party is happening and I notice the hostess not engaging I will send her a message like this...

Hey girlie! So we want to have as much interaction during the pre party as we can. This can only happen if you participate since they all do not really know me. Can you go in and comment on each of the posts i have made. You can say which is your favorite or if one of the items is something you want then say " that bracelet is what I am dying to get!!" Try tagging Susan as well in one of the posts. I see she has been liking everything.

Sometimes our hostesses feel awkward about commenting or do not know what to say. This is when I will send them exactly what to say. I really like them to feel that I am here to help. I will send them little blurbs and I have them post when i tell them too. This is ONLY if i feel she is not comfortable.

10.  An hour before the party starts I have my hostess send out a reminder message. I send her this....

Okay girlie it's time to message everyone and remind them about tonight

remember you can do this from the event
just hit message guests
your going to invite all 3 groups... invited, maybes and going

Here is the message you can send NOT in a group

WAHOOO our LIVE party is starting tonight!!! Remember that we have giveaways & raffles going on RIGHT now just for participating!!! The party is ALL ONLINE and only 30 min!!!! I am so excited about TuVous and your support would be amazing!!!!  Yay see you there!!!

11. Once the party has ended she does not rest lol. She needs to continue to get orders in the next 24 hours. In the afternoon I have her follow up with those that could not or did not attend. I send her this...

Okay girl! Lets follow up and check in to see if anyone else wants to order. I have a message you can send :)

Hey girl! Last nights party was a blast! I noticed that you haven't put your order in yet.... I wanted to close it tonight. IS there anything you would like to order before I do so?

12. As orders come in, send your hostess thank you images and ask her to tag each friend thanking them for their order along with posting the image. As her party is getting orders you need to keep her up to date about the total. If the party is at $85 or $165 it is your job to push her to the $100 or to the $200. You want to get her free stuff. This way she will host again in the future for you!



13. I like to play one last game the last day of the party. This will keep those checking back into the party. I like to use this graphic so I can book even more parties.



Party notes! 

**The next day I always private message and thank those that came to the party. I also ask each person if they too would like to host their own party. I use the magic blurb mixed with my party magic blurb haha....

Hey SUSAN (use her name!)l! Last night was a blast! Carolina got so much free stuff. I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a 30 min TuVous fb party for me in March?? You also would get free stuff... Would you be interested?

 **Once the hostess is ready to close her party I do her hostess rewards. There is a video on how to do so in the back office. Along with how to close the party. 
Now from this party you have gotten a lot with sales or NOT. Your network has grown and hopefully you got you your 10 new friends for the day that I teach! Remember that sales are not always going to happen and that you have to realize that there is more to a party then just the money! You are gaining a customer base! Take care of it. Water it. Feed it. Don't ruin it haha. 
I book on average 4 parties from all these steps i have taught you. The BIGGEST step i can teach you tho is confidence. DO NOT BE DESPERATE!!! Do not beg for parties. They are getting TONS of free products for sitting on their arses, watching TV and being on fb like they normally would haha. So OWN IT!!!! Have fun! Be YOU!!

Daily To-Do List

This is what I do on a daily basis for my business. The key is to keep momentum going all the time. It is SO hard once momentum has stopped to get it going again. If you follow these 3 steps each day it will create amazing momentum with not tons of effort.



These 3 things I do each morning before I do any other work.

1. Send messages to all those that have birthdays that day. I do not post on their wall. I send a private message. This stands out from the rest. Sometimes if I know them a little better I will send a video or a funny voice message. Make this fun! It will keep people connected to you.

2. I spend 30 min commenting on my friends posts on fb. NOT just on TuVous consultants but those that are in my network. This keeps them in my news feeds and keeps me in theirs. DO NOT just "like" posts. "Likes" do NOT count. You have to comment. Everyone likes when people comment on their posts. YOUR job is to make everyone in your network feel special. Set an alarm for 30 min and spend that time networking on your social media. I also go into the groups I have joined and comment on posts in there as well.

3. I friend 10 new people on fb. I do this by joining groups. I talk about this Here

                  Building Your Social Media Presence

1. "Hide" your friends list on fb. Here is how to do that.

Click "friends" and you will see the small edit pencil. Click edit privacy.

Make sure "only me" is selected in who can see your friends list.


2. Add your picture to your profile picture. This photo should not be of you and a child or spouse. This picture needs to be a good photo for your customers to get to know you. Do not change this photo often so pick a photo that you like.



3. Fill out your "about" section on your fb profile. This allows your customers and those your friend on fb see that you are a real person and can connect with you on a different level. Maybe they used to live in the state you are from. Maybe they used to work as a nanny like I did back in the day. The key is to connect anyway possible through our fb profiles. This makes you relatable. Fill out as much as you feel comfortable with. 



4. Friend 10 NEW people a day on Facebook. I know you hear me talk about friending 10 new people a day on Facebook and I get a lot of "how though" haha... so I am going to explain to you what I do to find new friends which helps me get new team members each month AND parties.

I join groups. I join lots of groups haha! The groups I join though are specific to what I like though. This helps me to participate. So what I do is I think of all the stuff I'm into lol.

scrapbooking
fashion
etc

What are YOU into??? There is a group for EVERYTHING!!!!!

I search for groups with these topics in mind. Then once in the groups I comment, post, talk... others get used to seeing my cute face haha ;) BUT... then when I friend them they recognize me. BOOM we already have something in common... THE WALKING DEAD DUH! Then when we are friends the first thing I do is I go to their page and comment on one of their pics. I always compliment because there is just NEVER enough complimenting in my book! This immediately breaks the ice and they love me! BOOM.. now when they see my stuff in my newsfeed they comment back. They also see my TuVous ;) When I eventually ask them if they would host a party for me they are like HECK YES!!! THAT GIRL SAID I HAD CUTE HAIR lol.
