Display Ideas

When it comes to displaying your TuVous items this is the fun part! You get to be creative and display how ever you would like. These are just a few ideas to get you started. We recommend not breaking the bank BUT make sure that your display looks appealing to the eye. This way you will sell more products at your home parties and events.



We got our neck displays at Hobby Lobby when they were 50% off. We then wrapped them ourselves in burlap. This makes them super cheap but shabby chic.
The table cloths are a twin sheet from WalMart. We paid $5 for each.



We love using our turning display rack for earrings and bracelets

We purchased a few mannequins online to sit on our table to showcase ties and scarves

Remember to have signs and pictures in affordable frames 
Another great thing to remember is to create height when displaying your items on the table. This draws the eye up and down.

Incentive's & Giveaway Ideas at Home Parties

·      Incentives at home parties are a great way to book more parties and to even team build. I recommend always adding incentives to your parties. 

1. Drawing for a TuVous Item!  As you are writing up the receipt have the customer fill out the drawing form.  It’s a great way to find out if they are interested in becoming a consultant or hosting a party.  Women love FREE things and you can do this with minimal cost!

·      2. Hostess Incentives- At my home parties I still use the TuVous Hostess Rewards... BUT I also give them a $10 credit to choose anything they want. This is just a Thank you for hosting type thing. I let them choose it out at the beginning of the party so they can wear it and show it off. 




·        3. Bring a friend, get a prize. I will give a half off item to those that bring a friend to the party. I will have on the invite "Bring a Friend, Get a Prize!" Get creative with this idea!

4. When I talk to someone at a party about becoming a consultant, I will give them $30 in free items of their choice if they sign up within 24 hours. This is a GREAT way to build your team. 

Hostess Coaching for Home Parties

Successful Parties begin with effective host coaching! There is only so much you can do at the actual party – the rest is up to your host & she is depending on your to coach her to success!

In my experience in direct sales, I have been able to increase my party sales and bookings by encouraging my hosts to do several important tasks.
* Have 40+ names on the invitation list / invite 40+ people
* Call or hand invite as many guests as they can
* Collect $300+ in outside orders before the party
* Call and remind all the guests the day before and remind them that if they bring a friend (buying guest) and/or an outside order they will get a free gift from me or encourage them to place an outside order if they can’t attend
* Have 10-15 adult guests in attendance
* Have at least 2 TuVous parties already booked before the party begins

I also take the time to explain our current TuVous promotions and host offers too. I will give my hosts some key points on our big special's and main product lines. Remember out of that 40+ people the host invites, you will probably only get  8-10 of them, so it’s helpful for your host to know product features & benefits for those who are not attending.
Now with everyone being on Social Media, I also set up my hosts a TuVous Facebook event for their party.  I am able to post product tips, ideas, video’s and play games for prizes. This allows me to connect with the guests before the party. It also allows me to share specials and product tips, host benefits and our business opportunities with those who may not be able to attend in person.  It has significantly increased outside orders for my parties as well as bookings and new recruits.

While You Wait For Your Starter Kit (Home Party Style)

Here are a few helpful hints to help you get started while you are waiting for your kit to arrive!

FIRST THING…. Pick up the phone and call your friends and family members and ask them WHEN (not if) they can have a party for you!  Have at least 3 parties scheduled before your kit arrives!  This gives you a deadline and something to work towards. 

·      Decide how you want to display your jewelry and items and get it ready!

o   The bigger your inventory is, the bigger your parties will be!  Women LOVE choices! 
o   Plan ahead!  Don’t get caught without enough inventory for a party!  You just never know how big a party is going to be and if you have multiple parties in a week you need to be prepared to have inventory enough for each.  Don’t feel like you have to break the bank when you order, but make sure you have enough! 
o   As a general rule for us, we use 50% of our profit to buy more inventory and then deposit the rest. 

o   Please allow 2-3 for the processing of your orders.  It can take an additional 5-10 days shipping time once your order is processed.  Be sure to plan ahead!

·      Launch Party:  Host your own Open House - The first party you will want to do is YOUR OWN!   We recommend that you have at least two launch parties one on the weekend and one during the week. That will give people a better chance of being able to come and support you. By doing this, it ties YOU to the TuVous brand!! You can do one Home party and the other can be a Facebook Party but we do recommend you have at least one of the Launch parties be a Home one. I get several phones calls a week where people want to come by and pick up something last minute.  At times they will bring a friend or a relative with them as well!  You especially want people to know that they can call or stop by for last minute Christmas, Anniversaries or birthday gifts.

  • ·      Open a separate checking account for your TuVous business.  You will want to keep your TuVous finances separate from your personal finances.

·      Get a business card with all your contact information, including your consultant id #.  Always have them on hand to give to people as you will be telling everyone you see about your new business adventure and you want them to be able to get hold of you!  Give some to your friends and family as well so when they get complimented on the jewelry they bought from you, they can hand out your card!  I order mine through www.vistaprint.com.  They had LOTS of cute designs to choose from for very reasonable prices.

·      Once your TuVous arrives, invite your friends and family over to have first pick of your inventory!  They’ll be so excited to have first dibs and already you’re marketing your business!
